New solution for gold analysis in mining and exploration

April, 2026. Lumex Instruments introduces a new analytical solution for gold determination using MGA-1000 Zeeman Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, designed for laboratories in mining and environmental sectors.

MGA-1000 supports efficient and accurate gold analysis in exploration, process control, and environmental monitoring applications. It is based on graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS) with Zeeman background correction, ensuring high sensitivity, selectivity, and accuracy of analysis. With detection limits starting from 0.02 ppm, MGA-1000 enables reliable determination of gold (Au) even at trace levels.

The instrument supports the analysis of various sample types, from rocks and ores to soils, sediments, mineral waste, and water.
