At the expo, we will present microchip based real time PCR analyzer AriaDNA. This instrument may prove beneficial to growers, field-men, extension personnel, pathogen testing labs, and seed potato storage facilities to make an accurate disease assessment.

AriaDNA provides cost effective and sensitive identification of a number of pathogens due to low volume per analysis (1.2 µl) together with the extremely fast heating and cooling device. The ready-to-use lyophilized PCR mixture simplifies setup and requires just the addition of DNA/RNA sample into the microchip. Simultaneous analysis of up to 28 samples can be ready in just 30 minutes.

The simplicity of the analysis and the automated data interpretation offers its ability with high-throughput monitoring and surveillance of potato pathogens.
