Lumex Instruments experts took part in the 21st Seminar for Air Pollution Control Technology from 22 to 23 of April. This national event was organized by Chinese Society of Environmental Science.
China signed Minamata convention on Mercury and ratified it in August 2016. Thereby a lot of attention is paid to the problems of reducing mercury emissions from coal-fired power plants in this country in recent years.
The seminar brought together key specialists in coal energy industry from the government, research institutions, and universities. Lumex Instruments experts presented a lecture “Determination of total mercury and mercury thermospecies in coal”. During accompanying exhibition, our company demonstrated mercury analyzers and monitors widely used for mercury emissions control.
