23.12.2016 | Collaborate research of Lumex and Xinjiang Environmental Monitoring Station

Lumex Instruments engineers were invited by Xinjiang Environmental Monitoring Station in China to participate in water quality analysis. The study subject was determination of petroleum hydrocarbons in water using two different methods - fluorescence spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy for the determination of  petroleum hydrocarbons in surface water and waste water samples. Lumex analyzer "FLUORAT-02-5M" was applied as an instrument for the fluorescence method.

Our instrument has demonstrated major advantages of fluorescence analysis, such as high sensitivity, low detection limit, small sample volume, simple pretreatment, low toxicity to the human body and environment, short analysis time and others.
