The 16th China Potato Expo was successfully held in Yunnan, Kunming from 27th to 29th of June, 2016. Every year the Expo attracts many domestic and overseas exhibitors, together with more than 4,000 professional visitors. The Expo plays an important role in promoting the overall and healthy development of the potato industry and the market. The program this year included display and demonstration, forums and seminars concerning industrial hotspots.

The Lumex expert, Maxim Slyadnev, was invited to deliver a speech entitled Detection of potato disease using microchip real-time PCR analyzer. Lumex also displayed Capel-205 and Infralum FT-12 instruments with their applications for potato industry.

Lumex participated in the conference as one of the main sponsors. During this event Lumex had meetings with Qu Dongyu, Vice ministry of Ministry of Agriculture P.R.C, group of experts and government officials in potato industry.
